A finish, a prize, and time for contemplation

If you read the blog and my facebook page you will know that I'm participating in Chookyblue's Stitch-a-long......we are completing

Anni Downs 'A Nature's Journey' divided into 8 months worth of work.

Anyone that knows me knows that I'm not the most organised person but I'm rather pleased to say that i have finished the February blocks

Then I finished the last two blocks tonight

 

I know they're not perfect I've been putting off needleturn applique for years

And hope this challenge will improve my techniques and finishes...

On my Facebook page I'm also having a giveaway for this

Closes Wednesday night 

This Sundays sit n stitch session will finish at 5pm instead of 6 

as  I am off to Adelaide for more training.  The shop is also open.
